Welcome to the Hohsaas Hut!
Welcome to 3,140 metres above sea level, high above Saas-Grund in the Saas Valley. The Hohsaas Hut is a mountain hut, mountain restaurant and starting point for unforgettable experiences in the heart of the Valais Alps – in both summer and winter.
In summer, we are a popular destination for hikers, mountaineers and nature lovers. Weissmies and Lagginhorn are right on our doorstep, surrounded by glaciers and an impressive panorama of numerous 4,000-metre peaks.
In winter, the Hohsaas Hut is located right in the heart of the Hohsaas ski area. Skiers, snowboarders and winter visitors can stop by, relax on our sunny terrace and enjoy a break with a unique view of the snow-covered mountain landscape.
Whether you come for a hike, a mountain tour, a day of skiing, a relaxing meal or an overnight stay, up here the mountains and the sky feel within reach.

Celebrate above the clouds – a unique, unforgettable New Year's Eve!
Experience New Year's Eve high up at the Hohsaas Mountain Hut, surrounded by the breathtaking Swiss Alps. Enjoy a welcome aperitif, a delicious festive 4-course dinner and our Mountain Beats New Year's Eve Party, featuring great music, dancing and a lively mountain hut atmosphere.
At midnight, we'll welcome 2027 together with spectacular views of the Mischabel mountain range. After a memorable night, start the new year with a generous breakfast buffet.
