Up here, the sky and the earth come together to offer you a breathtaking spectacle. How can you remain indifferent to these gigantic mountains, to the shimmering colours at the beginning or end of the day, or to this never-ending mineral world?
Whether you come to visit us during the day or stay with us to make your climbing dreams come true, the Hohsaas hut welcomes you for a moment that you will not forget. No less than 18 peaks over 4,000m are on view, including the Lagginhorn and the Weissmies, the region's most famous peaks.
And, who knows, maybe you will be lucky enough to cross the path of a few ibex or ptarmigan?

Solar Eclipse at Hohsaas – 12 August 2026
A truly special evening at 3,140 metres: together with you, we had the pleasure of experiencing the solar eclipse high above the Saas Valley, surrounded by the impressive Valais mountain landscape and a truly unique atmosphere.
Thank you very much for sharing and enjoying this unforgettable natural spectacle with us. We were delighted to welcome you and hope that this extraordinary moment will stay in your memories for a long time.
